3 Ways to Stay Top of Mind in a Shifting Market
In a shifting market, staying top of mind is the name of the game. Here are my top 3 recommendations for staying top of mind for your people so anytime the topic of real estate comes up, they think of you FIRST!
1) Commit to posting on IG at least 5x per week with 2-3 of those posts being reels. You'll get far more reach with reels than any other type of post and posting at a regular cadence will keep you top of mind. Not sure what to post? Start with these three types of reels: 1. Home tours set to trending music. 2. Talking head videos with a strong hook where you educate your audience. 3. Trending reels applied to real estate or your specific niche.
2) Send out a monthly e-mail newsletter. This shouldn't be your typical market update. Instead, include an email that adds value to your audience. Share a little about what you're up to and share topics of interest to your audience. If you typically work with families, share that the annual carnival is coming up and you'll be there with your kids. If you work with investors, share about an upcoming workshop for investors or off-market insider info you might have. Remember that people L O V E to be "in the know".
3) Use a CRM. You've got a lot going on in life and business. Using a CRM can help you keep all the details sorted out and remind you when to reach out to your warm audience to keep the relationship alive. There are many CRMs to choose from, but the most important thing about a CRM is you actually block out time in your calendar to USE IT!
Implementing these simple things will change the trajectory of your business FOR-E V E R. They'll help you build omnipresence and your audience will begin to truly feel as if you're everywhere. They'll see you as they're scrolling The Gram, catch your name in their inbox and then you'll slide into their DMs with birthday wishes (thanks to your CRM). And that's how you stay top of mind!
