Social Media Made Easy: Instagram Story Strategy for Your Next Event

Social media doesn't have to be overwhelming. A few simple Go-To strategies can go a long way. Let me break down a quick example for you.

Have an event coming up? I'm sure you do! Events are filled with endless content opportunities. You just have to know how to find them.

In this example, an event can be a conference, training, luncheon, awards ceremony, groundbreaking, showing, vacation, concert, or literally ANY event. Don't overthink it!

Commit to posting IG stories at 3 points

  1. Before the event (30-60 seconds)

  2. During the event (30-60 seconds)

  3. After the event (30-60 seconds)

Before the event, share your excitement, what to expect, and why you're doing this. During the event showcase highlights, funny anecdotes, and memorable moments. After the event, share what you learned, how you feel, and what you're taking away from the event.

For each point, on one of your story slides, include an engagement sticker. This can be a poll, sliding scale, or question box. The point here is to engage your audience and start conversations in the DMs.

More stories = More conversations = More sales
